US Helicopter offers fast, glamorous and luxurious transport between Manhattan and East Hampton in Long Island. On board US Helicopter, you will enjoy our first class executive interior on your 35 minute express flight high above the traffic. We operate state-of-the-art dual engine Sikorsky S-76 B helicopters with a passenger compliment of eight. Our helicopters are operated by two pilots at all times.
US Helicopter operates one flight from Manhattan to East Hampton on Friday afternoons and a return flight on Sunday evenings.* The schedule is effective from July 11, 2008 through September 28th, 2008.**
East Hampton Airport is conveniently located on the eastern end of Long Island—close to all the destinations in “The Hamptons”:
South Hampton less than 10 miles

*Passengers must provide US Helicopter with a mobile telephone contact number for day of departure.
**This flight will operate Monday, September 1st instead of Sunday, August 31st because of the Labor Day Weekend
Check- In:
When leaving from the East 34th Street Heliport (Terminal 2) or East Hampton Airport (Main Terminal), US Helicopter asks that you check in no later than 25 minutes prior to departure. If you do not check-in at least 20 minutes prior to departure you may lose your seat.
Boarding Procedure:
US Helicopter maintains an open-seating policy and specific seat numbers will not be assigned during the ticketing or check-in process. Customers may sit in any open or unclaimed seat upon boarding. Please keep in mind we only have eight seats.
Baggage Limitations: VERY IMPORTANT
Due to the limited baggage space on the helicopter, each passenger is allowed one checked bag in addition to a carry-on (a briefcase or laptop). Oversized items such as golf bags cannot be accepted.
