Delta Air Lines Check-in at the Downtown Manhattan (JRB) or East 34th Street (TSS) Heliports served by US Helicopter
Delta customers check in with US Helicopter at the Downtown Manhattan (JRB) or East 34th Street (TSS) Heliports , where they will check their bags to the final destination on Delta, obtain boarding passes for their Delta and US Helicopter flights and go through security screening prior to boarding the helicopter. As TSA security screening is conducted at the heliports no further screening is required at JFK.
US Helicopter Check-in at Airports Served by Delta Air Lines
To ensure customers receive boarding passes for all flights and to confirm that luggage is checked through to the Downtown Manhattan (JRB) or East 34th Street (TSS) Heliports, customers must check-in with a Delta Air Lines ticket agent. Customers should advise the Delta agent that they will be connecting to US Helicopter (UH) at JFK. Please note that the baggage space on the Sikorsky S-76 helicopters operated by US Helicopter is limited. Please click for details on US Helicopter baggage allowance.
Baggage Service
All arriving bags are checked through to the final Delta Air Lines destination. If Manhattan is the final destination, bags are checked through to the Downtown Manhattan (JRB) or East 34th Street (TSS) Heliports where customers can retrieve their bags upon disembarking US Helicopter. If customers are not continuing on Delta Air Lines at JFK International, checked baggage can be retrieved at the baggage claim for Terminal 3.
