Animals
We will not transport live animals in the passenger cabin or as checked baggage. We will permit dogs only as service animals used by an individual with a disability to accompany such individual in the passenger cabin at no charge.
Baggage
For the safety and comfort of our passengers, we strictly enforce the baggage limits stated in the guidelines below. We encourage all passengers to read these guidelines when making travel plans.
Baggage Allowance
Each passenger is allowed the following baggage:
• One Standard/Average size checked bag
• One carry-on bag/item such as a laptop or regular sized briefcase
Carry-On Baggage
Passengers are allowed one (1) carry-on item onboard the helicopter.
The classification of carry-on item is exclusive of the following personal items, which may be carried on the passenger during the flight within reason:
• A handbag (Pocketbook or Purse)
• Briefcase(small)
• Laptop computer
• An Umbrella
• A Camera
US Helicopter limits carry-on bag dimensions to 17” x 10” x 18” due to limited storage volume. Any carry-on type baggage with a volume larger than this will have to be checked during the helicopter flight. Storage of carry-on baggage onboard the helicopter is limited to under the seat in front of the passenger or the in-cabin baggage cabinet.
Carry-on type baggage that cannot fit in the cabin of the helicopter will be taken as checked baggage on US Helicopter’s flight and tagged with a special high visibility tag.
The specially tagged carry-on type bag will be handed back to the passenger upon arrival at the destination.
If the passenger’s destination is one of the heliports, then the specially tagged carry-on type bag will be brought to the baggage claim area for passenger retrieval.

Checked Baggage
Helicopters have limited storage capacity in the baggage compartment. The baggage compartment is separate and not accessible from the passenger cabin.
Weight and Size Allowance
Maximum weight limitation of 50 lbs total per passenger. Maximum size and volume limitations of 62in. The size limitation of your luggage is calculated by adding the total outside dimensions of each bag, that is, length + width + height.
Excess Baggage and Oversize Baggage
If a passenger wishes to carry more than the baggage allowance, US Helicopter has the right to refuse the excess & oversized baggage due to the size/volume limitations of the aircraft baggage compartment. Please make other travel arrangements for any excess baggage or oversized baggage.
Golf clubs are considered oversize baggage and are thus restricted as noted above, however if you wish to travel with your golf clubs, a second seat must be purchased to assure space availability. This policy can be applied to other excess/oversize baggage within reason.
Please be aware that certain items of baggage, either checked or carry-on, carry certain restrictions. Please refer to our Contract of Carriage for any other baggage related inquiries.

Handicapped Passengers
Handicapped passengers or passengers who may need the assistance of another fare paying passenger to move expeditiously to an exit in the event of an emergency, shall be accepted for travel provided they require no specialized care from the crew while on board the aircraft. This is because US Helicopter does not operate, nor is it required to operate, with flight attendants.
Passengers who require specialized care during flight must be accompanied by a passenger or medical personnel capable of administering the needed assistance and/or the necessary life support equipment. In accordance with company policy, US Helicopter does not provide for the carriage of oxygen for medical use by passengers. If your physical condition is such that you are unable to step up into the helicopter and sit unassisted, for safety considerations US Helicopter cannot accommodate you.
The in-cabin and aft baggage storage capacities of US Helicopter’s S76 helicopter are limited in size and volume and therefore not able to accommodate the transport of many handicapped passenger mobility aids, such as wheelchairs or walkers.
US Helicopter will not transport wheelchairs. The ability to transport other mobility aids is subject to standard passenger baggage limitations and available space in the aircraft’s baggage compartment.
Unaccompanied minors
US Helicopter will not carry unaccompanied minors. (Children must have reached their 15th birthday to travel without being accompanied by an adult.)
Infants and Children
One child over 14 days and under two (2) years of age, not occupying a seat, may be carried free with a Customer paying the applicable adult fare. By purchasing a full fare ticket the Customer is also able to reserve a seat for an infant and use his/her FAA approved car seat.
FAA regulation requires any child who has reached his or her second birthday to occupy his or her own seat during takeoff and landing (For a list of FAA safety recommendations for air travel with children, call the agency's consumer information hotline at 1-800-322-7873 [1-800-FAA-SURE]).
A birth certificate is required to validate age of all infants under age two. A medical release for travel is required for any infant under 14 days old. Accompanied children above the age of two will be charged a full adult fare.
